A Little About Me

My love for reading and writing began when I was little, and it has held a special place in my heart ever since. Through the years, that love has grown and found its way into so many parts of my life. I had a weekly column in my college newspaper, served as the page editor there, and have written many magazine articles. But no matter where life has taken me, storytelling has always been something I've come back to.
Along the way, I've also discovered just how much I love teaching and being with children. As a mom of three boys and a preschool teacher, I've spent years surrounded by wonder, curiosity, and imagination that make childhood so special. Watching children laugh, dream, ask questions, and find magic in the simplest things has only deepened my love for storytelling and inspired me to share stories of my own.
Creating children's books feels like a beautiful way to bring together my love of writing and working with children. I get to take the stories and ideas that fill my heart and turn them into something that children and families can share, laugh about, and carry with them long after the last page is turned.
That's what I hope to do through The Don't Club. I want to create playful stories that spark imaginations, inspire giggles, and remind us all to treasure the little moments that make childhood unforgettable. If one of my books brings a smile to a child's face, inspires a little adventure, or becomes a story they ask to hear again and again, then I've shared something truly special.
Thank you for being here and letting me share a little piece of my heart with you. I'm so happy you're part of this little adventure.
With love,
